Favorites From: Blurryface Album

Hello My Lovelies!

Some of you may know, I’m a huge fan of Twenty-One Pilots! Blurryface isn’t my favorite of their albums, I will admit that, but these are my favorite songs from the Blurryface album:

(p.s. I will probably do post like these with their other albums in the future

p.p.s Also if you click on the name of a song it will bring you to the song on YouTube! You should listen to them! (Don’t worry, they don’t curse!)

p.p.p.s. These songs aren’t listed in any particular order!)

1. HeavyDirtySoul

This song was actually how I fell in love with TOP so um yeah.. I just love this song

“Gangsters don’t cry. Therefore, Therefore I’m, Mr. Misty-Eyed, Therefore I’m.”

2. The Judge

I just love it sooo much! I really like their Ukulele songs!

At 4 minutes and 25 second Tyler yells “Josh Dun!” In the background 😉

3. Not Today

I don’t know what it is about this song that I love, but it’s something.. It’s just so perfect..

“I look outside, I side a whole world, better off, without me in it, trying to transform it.”

4. Polarize

I just like the feel of this song.. It’s pretty catchy 🙂

“My friends and I, we got a lot of problems”

5. We Don’t Believe What’s On TV

The “YEAHYEAHYEAH”‘s get me so pumped :D, And again love the uke!

“I used to say I want to die before I’m old,  but because of you I might think twice”

6. Goner

This definitely a slower, sadder song like the ones on some of their other albums, but its pretty deep and I love it!

“The ghost of you is close to me”

Honorable Mentions:

HomeTown, Message Man, Doubt, Lane Boy, Fairly Local

Don’t get me wrong I like some of their more mainstream songs like Ride too, but I like these ones more. And to me Stressed Out is OK, but Tear In My Heart is just bleh. Too One Direction-y  for me..

But yeah, blurryface isn’t my favorite but it’s pretty good!

What are your favorite Blurryface songs?

Have a Nice Day!

Goodness I put a lot of links in this post!

Surprise!

Hello My Lovelies!

Today’s post was supposed to be a What I’m Reading for September 2016 post (which will be coming.. eventually.. maybe.. hopefully) but something very out of the ordinary happened today.. so I decided to share it with y’all!

Okay, so currently in my school the Scholastic Book Fair is going on! So in Language Arts class, we took a little trip to the school library to look at the books and make a little wishlist, so we know how much money to bring the next day to get the books the next day. So I went there and the only thing that really interested me was Insugrent. I had already read Insurgent, but the I was reading a borrowed copy from my friend, but I wanted to have my own copy like just to have, and for if I ever want to Re-Read it. Also Insurgent, was conveniently on sale for $5!

There is a plot to this story, keep reading!!

My school also has something called AR, or Accelerated Reading! This is where, for each quarter of the school year you have a goal of about 30 points. Every book that you read is worth a certain amount of points. Then you take an online test just to prove that you actually read the book. Then based off how well you did on the test you get a certain amount of points, like if you get 100% on a test on a 10 point book then you get all 10 points, but if you only get a 80% then you only get 8 points. And you have to reach your 30 point goal by the end of the quarter! And I am a HUGE reader so I reached my goal within the first week.. Each quarter is 9 weeks long by the way.. I was the first person in my class to reach my goal! (My best friend Kaitlyn reached hers like the next day)

I’m getting to the exciting part.. hang on a little longer!

Okay so once we went back to the language arts classroom my teacher asked me “What books were you thinking about getting?” (At the time I didn’t know why she was asking  me that) So I told her that I wanted Insurgent, and why. Then I went on with my day without thinking anything of it.

AND THEN

In math later that day, my teacher got a call. After she hung up she said “Julia, Ms. Barnes wants to see you in her class room” (Ms. Barnes is my language arts teacher) So my math teacher wrote me a hall pass, and off to Ms. Barnes class I went! I walked into her room and walked up to her and then she says…

“Hi Julia, you were the first person in the class to reach your AR goal, so I bought you Insurgent from the book fair!”

WHATTTTTTT!!!!!

MY LANGUAGE ARTS TEACHER BOUGHT ME INSURGENT AT THE BOOK FAIR!!!!

SEE!!

Adventures In Babysitting

Hello My Lovelies!

This isn’t about the movie Adventures in Babysitting, this is about MY adventures in babysitting! Honestly they are really just stories, not adventures, none of them are really that exciting but um.. I liked the title so.. yeah.

1. Braces girl

One time I baby sat an adorable little girl, who was about 4 years old and I’m not going to say her name but just imagine her as being really cute and having very red hair and lots of freckles! So anyway I was playing with her, when she says “Why do you have bracelets on her teeth?” I laughed, a lot. Then I like explained to her what braces were but she still didn’t really seem to get it completely, and then she says “Little kids don’t have those!” And I was like “I know.” and then she like pulled her mouth open and like her lips apart really far with her hands and said, “SEEEEEEEEE!!”.

See what I mean, these stories aren’t to exciting.. I just thought that was kinda funny and cute!

2. Technical Difficulties

Another time when I was babysitting at a different house, their mom said ” I have some VHS tapes that the kids like in that drawer, the VCR is under the TV.” So after about an hour or so of babysitting the kids started saying, “We want to watch a movie!!” Let me tell you something. If you’ve never used one before VHS tapes, and VCR’s are very complicated confusing things. At least for me..  The kids kept saying “We want to watch Mickey Mouse!!” So I went in the drawer and looked at all the VHS tapes trying to find one that even slightly resembled Mickey Mouse. I finally found it. Disney’s VERY ancient, Fantasia. You know, the one where Mickey is wearing like the blue wizard hat thing? Yeah that one. Well, once I FINALLY got it figured out (which took forever), I got it started and after watching it for about 5 minutes, the kids were just kind of like ” um, what’s this I’ve never seen this before..” And I’ve never seen Fantasia so like what would I know. And yeah I just kinda like messed around with it a little bit but then I just kinda gave up and yeah. That sucked. But then the kids just decided to play House so that was good, it kept things quiet.

3. House.

As I said in like the sentence above this ^ the kids decided to play house. So one boy says, “Let’s play house!” and then this really little girl like she’s probably 2 or 3 says “NO!! I don’t like House!! I want to play Family!! ” I guess she didn’t realize they were like exactly the same thing..

Sorry this post was really boring and kinda sucked!! But I just thought I’d share some cute and funny little incidences that have happened to me whilst babysitting!

Have a Nice Day!

Hello My Lovelies

Today I’m doing something a bit different. I’m doing a book UN-Haul. This is basically just a list of books that I’m getting rid of for various different reasons. Also if you were wondering, most of the books will probably end up going to GoodWill or my mom’s classroom bookshelf!
