I bought more books.. I didn’t really need to,… but I did.
I mean, I did use gift-cards on all of these books so I didn’t actually pay with my own money!
Over the course of spring break, I acquired about 10 more books from Barnes & Noble, GoodWill and Amazon.
Now stay tuned while I show you these books in front of pretentious backgrounds and talk about how excited I am to read them!
The Mysterious Benedict Society
//Trenton Lee Stewart
I bought the first book in the series from GoodWill in great condition for $2.99! I bought the rest of the series at Barnes & Noble for $10 each with a gift-card!
I’ve already finished the first book and I was really impressed! It was so refreshing to read such a good book! It was wonderfully written, had the perfect mix of childhood and genuine mystery and the characters were so love-able! I can’t wait to get to the rest of the series!
I bought the series in a box set, with yet another gift-card, off Amazon for $40!
I’ve already read the first two books already and I’m currently reading the third book! This is probably my second or third favorite Riordan series! I definitely way better than the Kane Chronicles.. (sorry but i did NOT like those books) The political-views and stuff that he kinda shoves down your throat in these books is a bit much but whatever its fine.
It’s Kind of a Funny Story
ignore the really shadowy picture
I got this with a gift-card for $10 at Barnes & Noble!
I know nothing about this book except for the fact that I have a friend who likes it, and the author also wrote the book version of Be More Chill so that’s fun.
Maze Runner (2, 3, and 4)
I bought the Scorch Trials off of Amazon for $8 and the other two from Barnes & Noble for $10 each. All with gift-cards, of course!
I’ve actually read the entire Maze Runner series already but I just didn’t own all the books yet.
Have you read any of these books? What are you currently reading? What do you recommend me to buy next? Do you enjoy buying books as much as I do? Are you also running out of space to store all of your books?
